Thaisa Daher Menezes, is a female middle blocker born on 15 May 1987 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
She is a two time Olympic gold medalist and has built a reputation for being one of the best middle blockers in the world during the 2000s.
A member of the first Olympic women's team in history to win three gold medals in three consecutive Olympic Games.

Thaisa spent the majority of her professional volleyball career playing in Brazil.
In 2016, she played for the top team Turkey Eczacıbaşı VitrA where during the season she suffered a devastating ankle injury in the middle of a match. But she rehabbed back to professional elite playing level and now plays in Brazil for Barueri for the 2017-18 season.
